We've loved Laderach since we first discovered it in Switzerland, but what impressed us so much about this location was the exceptional service by MariaClara. She exemplies the genuinely caring, old-fashioned customer service that is so refreshing yet all but non-existent in business these days. We received the best customer service we've received at any shop or restaurant in months from her. She really helps people discover what is special and unique about Laderach as well.

The chocolate is so good that we stopped by after the amazing worker, Octavius, gave us a sample. From now on, we’re definitely coming back for more because we fell in love with it! The Raspberry and Salted Caramel flavors are incredible. I really recommend y’all go try some chocolate and buy a few treats because they taste amazing 🤩 and are absolutely worth the money. Plus, the employees there — especially Octavius — have such an amazing attitude and will truly take care of you and your family 🤍

Look, I don’t do malls. Nobody who values their time does malls. But here’s the thing about Läderach: it’s the only reason I’ll set foot in one. This is Swiss chocolate. The real kind. Not the waxy, over-sweetened American approximation you’ve been settling for your whole life. These people take single-origin chocolate seriously, then they do something unexpected with it: they lay it out in thick, irregular slabs of bark and press things into it. Crystals. Nuts. Dried fruit. Things that crunch and pop and make you stop mid-sentence. The woman working the sample station out front isn’t hawking product. She’s a dealer. She knows exactly what she’s doing, and she does it with the quiet confidence of someone who has watched a thousand people get hooked on the first bite. Start with the bark. That’s the move. The coffee bark is where I live, deep and bitter and unapologetic. But then there’s the blueberry. White chocolate, which I normally have no use for whatsoever, but this particular combination does something that defies the category entirely. It’s worth the exception. The manager, Jason, at Laderach is the BEST!! Extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. He’s made our experiences at this store feel like home. He was also nice enough to gift us some chocolates because we shop there so often. From the nurses of Kelsey Seybold, Thank you Jason!!
